Common questions

A little clarity.

What is United Vault?

United Vault is the customer-facing brand of UV Fintech Limited. UV manages the programme and customer relationship. Payment services are provided by Equals Money Plc, and cards are issued by Equals Money International Limited.

Who can apply?

Eligibility depends on where you live or where your business is registered, your intended account use, and the required checks. Contact UV to discuss your circumstances before applying.

What documents will I need?

Individuals may be asked for identity, address and source-of-funds information. Businesses may also need company, director and ownership documents. The onboarding team will confirm the documents required for your application.

How long does onboarding take?

Timing depends on the application and the information required. The team may request additional documents before reaching a decision. An enquiry does not guarantee account approval.

Which currencies and destinations are supported?

Availability depends on the service and your account. Contact UV to check the currencies, destinations and payment routes relevant to you.

Is my money protected by the FSCS?

UK payment and e-money accounts are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Safeguarding is a different form of protection. Read the explanation on our About page.

How do I report a card or payment issue?

Use the controls available in your account and contact the support channel provided with your account. Do not send passwords, PINs, full card details or identity documents through this website’s enquiry form.
